A hospital building is like a city within a city; it is a new neighborhood that has a definite hierarchy of routes, activities, and relationships with its surroundings. Thinking of designing a city that embodies the values of today's society, the new hospital, in addition to being oriented toward the well-being of patients and employees, must be an ecological facility, with minimal impact on the environment and with strong economic and social sustainability. The location of the facility within the Magadino Plan Park becomes an opportunity to create an architecture that is composed of a green landscape, overlapping parks with green courtyards and individual rooms that overlook tree canopies. The low height of the buildings allows sunlight and fresh air to reach all rooms, benefiting all users. The park itself, which surrounds the buildings, enters the building, generating the architecture of the hospital. In the urban fabric of the city, the park with the hospital becomes a place accessible to all inhabitants, a place of cultural exchange through the activities that a hospital can offer.
