The project involves the conversion of a hotel into a medical center dealing with the application and research of various medically assisted procreation therapies. The intervention, limited to the interior spaces, is first and foremost a space organization project corresponding to a precise use; therefore, the plant engineering aspect played a key role in the process. The concept of dividing the building is related to the density of visitor presence: the levels near the entrance are the most public with the waiting and consultation rooms; going up, the building becomes less permeable to the public with the laboratories and the operating department on the upper level. The atmosphere that was intended to be created is one of brightness, efficiency, and hygiene, with the use of materials, colors, and lights that would complement the existing structure and distribution.
