The proposed site is located in a central area of Chiasso municipality, close to the important train station and civic center.
The school building, separated from the parking garage, is developed on the site western edge, reaching the maximum permitted height.
The void created between the new building and the former SBB warehouse has an urbanistic value for the city, dialoguing with the pre-existing railway buildings and offering precise relations with the station, with the future urban development west of the allotment and with the tapered terminal between Via Livio and Via Motta.
The new public park serves as a place of rest, refreshment, shaded during the summer, where meetings between young students and the citizens of Chiasso take place.
